Weald Crafts (formerly Wealden Craftworkers) is a non-profit making organisation whose main objective is to promote both functional and decorative crafts across Sussex, Kent and Surrey.
Our aim is to provide suitable venues for the sale of members’ work and encourage, by means of education, the development of traditional skills within the county. It is our intention to highlight the wealth of skills available locally and in doing so, provide the opportunity for members of the public to have access to a wide range of quality products at a reasonable cost.
All members live or work within 30 miles of the venue at which they are selling and are encouraged to use locally sourced materials.
Weald Craft Artists
Weald Crafts also welcomes artists to the group. There are already a number of accomplished artists and photographers who exhibit at our shows and they are able to theme their displays each time to the audience, e.g. country fairs, transport show, Christmas shows etc. If you think you could display your artwork at our events please go to our Contact page and enquire about membership.
Weald Crafts Featured Makers
Members may choose to have their work featured on our Makers’ Page. Contact us to find out how you can do this and what materials we need from you in order to feature you and your work. You may also use the search box in the right sidebar to find a particular artist or maker, or craft.
