Ron draws and paints mainly in watercolour, but sometimes just plain line drawings in ink or pencil.
His background is engineering where he did engineering drawing and later when he was in further education his notes included many sketches. On retiring Ron attended oil, watercolour and life drawing courses. His output covers landscapes, animals, vehicles, buildings and what he calls ‘fun’ paintings.
